Travis Walton

Travis Walton is perhaps the best and most well-documented case of alleged alien abduction, at least as far as the general public is concerned.

His story is recounted in his book Fire in the Sky, and in the film of the same name (1993). On November 5, 1975, a group of loggers in the mountains of northeastern Arizona saw a strange bright light in the sky. Walton, one of the logging party, was intrigued and got out of the truck—an act which he regrets to this day—and was blasted by a mysterious bolt of energy. The others fled in terror, and Walton was then missing for five days. No one who has heard Walton speak can doubt his complete sincerity or the traumatic nature of his experience.

It’s hard to discount such a man whom for the past 42 years has stuck to the same story.

Stanton Friedman

Nuclear Physicist-Lecturer Stanton T. Friedman received his BSc. and MSc. Degrees in physics from the University of Chicago in 1955 and 1956. He was employed for 14 years as a nuclear physicist by such companies as GE, GM, Westinghouse, TRW Systems, Aerojet General Nucleonics, and McDonnell Douglas working in such highly advanced, classified, eventually cancelled programs as nuclear aircraft, fission and fusion rockets, and various compact nuclear powerplants for space and terrestrial applications.

He has been researching UFOs for almost 50 years, and since 1967 has lectured about them at more than 600 colleges and 100 professional groups in 50 U.S. states, 10 Canadian provinces and 18 other countries in addition to various nuclear consulting efforts. He has published more than 90 UFO papers and has appeared on hundreds of radio and TV programs including on Larry King in 2007 and twice in 2008, and many documentaries.

Stanton suffered a heart attack in 2014, but recovered after surgery. He continued his work until the age of 84, and died in May of 2019. His family said he died of a heart attack at Toronto Pearson Airport on his way home to Fredericton, New Brunswick, from a speaking engagement in Columbus, Ohio.

Richard Dolan

Historian Richard Dolan has been researching and writing on the topic of UFOs for over 20 years.

His seminal book, UFOs and the National Security State was regarded as one of the best UFO books released in years when it debuted in 2000. Dolan became interested in the UFO problem back in 1994 when he was working on his doctoral dissertation on America at war in the 1940s, discovering the interest that the US Government had in the issue of UFOs, and why they wanted to hide it. He was intrigued that mainstream and academic culture downplayed and marginalized UFOs as a whole, while many intelligent and high-ranking officials were privately taking it seriously.

Dolan is well-recognized for his books, public speaking and TV & film appearances. He coined the term “Breakaway Civilization” (a concept whereby a select group in society might “break away” with profoundly advanced technology they keep to themselves).
